The Workers’ Party is delighted to announce that it is re-launching in Dublin.
The Dublin North and Dublin West branches have invited supporters and those interested to attend their re-launch in Wynn’s Hotel, Abbey Street Lower, Dublin 1, on Saturday, 7th February, 12-4pm.
The last number of months have proven to be an exciting time for the organisation with a large number of experienced political activists joining the Party.
Furthermore, Councillor Éilis Ryan of the Dublin North Inner City ward has also joined our ranks, giving the Party its first representative on Dublin City Council since 1999.
The event will involve a day of discussion and debate on how left-wing activists can best advance the cause of progressive politics and the role a re-energised Workers’ Party will play in this struggle.
The branches will be launching policy discussion documents on Urban Development, Housing and Economic Issues,
Agenda
The Dublin region wants to begin engaging with and provoking debate around important policy areas. We will initially be concentrating our attention around Housing, Democratic Economy and Urban Development.
It would be fantastic to get input and opinion not only from Party members but also others on the Left…
