Message from the Workers’ Party of Ireland to the Communist Party of Nepal (UML)

Dear Comrades,

The Workers’ Party of Ireland sends its condolences to the families of those killed in the devastating earthquake which has taken place in Nepal. Although the full consequences of this disaster have yet to be ascertained it is clear that at least eight million people have been affected, more than five thousand have been killed and further thousands are injured, homeless and struggling to find the basic necessities of life.

We express our solidarity with the Nepalese people and our comrades in the CPN (UML) and support the call for international relief and rescue efforts at this critical time.
